Patricia M. Delgado

DNP, APRN, DCNP, PMHNP
PRESIDENT

Dr. Delgado specialized in medical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology for the full 8 years as a nurse practitioner and worked in critical care for 5 years prior to working in dermatology. She has also worked in dermatology and psychiatric research for 3 years, and she continues to stay active in publication and patient and Advanced Practice Provider (APP) advocacy. She is passionate about education and believes we are all a vital part of the healthcare team.

Stephanie Simmerman

DNP, APRN
CO PRESIDENT

Originally from Michigan, Dr. Simmerman has lived in Naples for over 20 years. She graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida in 2007 and started her healthcare career as a registered nurse with Riverchase Dermatology. In May of 2012, in the course of her Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree, she obtained the highest scholastic achievement in professional nursing, the Doctorate of Nursing Practice. During her advanced nursing preparation, Dr. Simmerman gained practical experience working directly with nurse practitioners in multiple clinical environments and has even developed programs for work culture competence for dermatology practices. She enjoys inspiring other APPs to practice confidently and always maintain the highest level of professionalism.

Keischa Cash

DNP, APRN, DCNP
CO PRESIDENT

Dr. Cash has previous clinical experiences as a cardiology intensive care nurse, family practice nurse practitioner, and as a dermatology certified nurse practitioner. She is dual certified in family practice through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and certified in dermatology through the Dermatology Nurse practitioner Certification Board. Dr. Cash works with Academic Alliance in Dermatology seeing patients of all ages specializing in Medical, Surgical, Cosmetic, Pediatric, and Skin of Color dermatology. She is passionate about APP education and regularly speaks at conventions and dinner presentations for the Florida DNA and DNP Derm.

Katherine Cummings

RN
SECRETARY

Ms. Cummings has worked in dermatology for the past 6 years as a medical assistant and then receptionist, and she most recently graduated as an RN from Valencia College. She currently works as a critical care nurse in Neuro ICU at Orlando Regional Health Center and serves as Secretary of the Florida DNA. She plans to gain vital experience and grow her critical thinking skills and assessment skills before she returns to school for her Family Nurse Practitioner Certification to eventually return as an APP to her first love, Dermatology.

Ellen Toneff

PA-C
TREASURER

Ellen Toneff, PA-C was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area. She has a passion for educating both her patients and her peers in Dermatology. She is the Lead Provider Trainer and Clinical Curriculum Coordinator for new PAs and APRNs joining her practice, Suncoast Skin Solutions. Ellen holds the prestigious title of Diplomate Fellow after completing an additional 2-year Dermatology Fellowship Program through the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.


She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Florida where she graduated summa cum laude. She again attended the University of Florida School of Physician Assistant Studies. She is a proud member of the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (FSDPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).

Ellen is passionate about creating a strong bond between herself and her patients. Ellen has a passion for complex, chronic dermatology disease states and bringing patients to a place where they feel comfortable in their own skin… no pun intended!

Ellen loves working out, watching movies, and anything outdoors. But you can also find her hanging out with her two huge Maine Coon cats (Tater Tot and Stellaluna) while watching movies and cheering on the Gators!

Tran Gallagher

DNP, APRN
SOCIAL MEDIA DIRECTOR

Dr. Gallagher is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Central Florida. She has 3+ years of experience in aesthetic medicine as lead nurse practitioner injector and was a medical progressive care RN for 5 years prior. She holds a strong interest in the advanced clinical management of dermatological conditions and aesthetic medicine. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, spending time with family, and trying out new food places in Orlando.

Nathali Rodriquez

PA-C
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Ms. Rodriguez is originally from New York City where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the CUNY School of Medicine, formerly known as the Sophie Davis PA Program. Ms. Rodriguez is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant and licensed by the State of Florida Board of Medicine. She is currently employed at Academic Alliance in Dermatology and has previous work experience at Elmhurst Hospital and Moffitt Cancer Center in the Neurosurgery Department. 

 

Ms. Rodriguez prides herself on being a first-generation college graduate and the founder of the CCNY College chapter of Project Sunshine – A non-profit organization whose mission is to serve hospitalized children by delivering interactive joy and play. She loves to volunteer in health-related community events during her free time. Ms. Rodriguez is currently a member of the Advanced Practice Providers Council at Academic Alliance in Dermatology where she strives to be an advocate for her fellow colleagues. She has been a member of the executive board for Sunrise NPPA Dermatology since 2024.
